Blogging for Money, Blogging for Popularity

December 4th 2006 05:54
There is no doubt that blogging has been tagged as similar to holding online diaries where people can write practically about anything they want over the Internet. Hitting that keyboard and typing away the thoughts running in our minds can produce tons of information and relevant experiences, most of which are unique if compared to what others put in their usual blogs as hosted by sites such as Orble, Friendster, Blogger, Xanga, Multiply, The Candyham Network and MySpace.

To date we here about different revenue generating opportunities on the web that include:

1. Article Marketing
2. SEO Optimization
3. Keyword Maximization
4. Blog Marketing
5. Link Building
6. Affiliate Marketing

The thought that runs in the minds of people who are not totally educated on what benefits they can get out of the web is really huge. For most people, the Internet is simply another means of enhancing cheaper and faster ways of communication and gathering relevant information for business and personal use, mainly for research and reference.

A number of people have gotten themselves into such practices. A lot use this as a means of additional revenue to cope up with their financial burdens or simply finding a way to maximize their time by earning on the side. Such is a very convenient practice, earning while doing something that they really love.

For the people who get blindsided by the color of money, keyword optimization becomes a means for a degrading production of articles that contain information needed by people all over the world. It is hard for people to understand some articles, especially the ones that are needed in business researches. Not all people are totally adept with article content and unless they thoroughly browse through the written article, they would never know that such content is fictitious and will be subject to inconsistencies and debate.

Not all bloggers would do the same. Blogging is similar to practicing freedom of speech, stating facts and information based on their beliefs and experiences. While some people may abuse the promises of efficient blogging techniques, the pertinent and relevant information aspect should not be overlooked nor be taken for granted.
